The organising committee takes great pleasure in extending a warm invitation to everyone with an interest in the retirement village industry to attend AdvantAge09 – the Annual Conference of the RVA.

The Retirement Village Association (RVA) Ltd is the peak national body representing more than 660 members consisting of retirement village operators, managers, owners, developers, investors, and industry specialists across Australia. Industry specialists represent diverse business groups from major banking and financial institutions, national law, accountancy and valuation firms to service product providers.

The principal objectives of the RVA are to establish and maintain standards for all participants in the industry and to represent members with a shared vision for providing quality services. AdvantAge09 will focus on addressing key issues facing the industry such as access to funding, cost effective sales and marketing strategies, sustainable design concepts and managing your cost base.

In recent years, conferences on the eastern seaboard have attracted increasing delegate numbers, reaching over 500 on the Gold Coast in 2006 and over 650 in Melbourne in 2007. It is expected that delegate numbers in Sydney will follow suit.

With AdvantAge09 being held in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, an ideal location that balances business and pleasure, this is an event not to be missed!
